Christmas Lights

Yesterday, Michael took Benjamin to run some errands after dark. Benjamin loves the Christmas lights on the outside of homes and they had this conversation.

Benjamin:We should get lights on our house, too.
Dad: Well, we'll see. Dad needs to get more money. Everything is expensive these days.
Benjamin: Well, Dad. All you do is get some glue, and you put on the lights and you put them on the house. Then you have lights on the house.

Oh the simple joys and imaginations of childhood. I never would have thought to use glue to hang Christmas lights!
